About children's centres

Children’s centres can offer families who have children under five a range of services which include:

• parenting support and advice
• activities for children, mothers, fathers and carers
• access to health services
• breast feeding support and baby bonding groups.

Also provided are adult learning opportunities and advice and support on benefits and employment.

Making a referral to a children's centre

If you wish to refer a family to one or more of these services please complete the children’s centre referral form and send it to the family’s nearest children centre. If you are unsure where their nearest centre is call 0800 389 8312.
