Early Years funding for schools and academies
Free Early Education funding for 2, 3 and 4-year olds (FEE 2,3,4)
Barnet funds the Free Early Education for all eligible 2, 3 and 4-year olds in the maintained, private voluntary and independent (PVI) sectors, registered childminders and children’s centres.
The Early Education and Childcare Statutory Guidance for Local Authorities from the Department for Education applies to the free entitlements for two, three and four-year olds for both the universal and extended entitlement.
FEE providers will be paid monthly but will need to submit their estimates termly in line with the Department for Education’s ‘Early education and childcare – statutory guidance for local authorities’.
The offer
