Qwell Online Counselling Service
What is Qwell?
As part of a whole school approach to mental health & wellbeing (recommended by the Department for Education), the online counselling service ‘Qwell’ is an essential part of the Resilient School Programme universal offer to support the health and wellbeing of Barnet educational staff.
Schools and educational staff are fundamental in supporting children & young people’s mental health & wellbeing. However, to effectively support children and families, educational staff need to be emotionally resilient themselves and be able to access help when needed.
The Qwell service is free for Barnet School Staff (18+), can be accessed anonymously (which helps reduce barriers to mental health support) and is available all year round.
How it works
Barnet School Staff visit the Qwell platform and create an account. Eligibility will be checked and once verified, service users can access immediate chat based counselling, online resources and can also receive more longer-term online counselling with the same counsellor.
