The School Food Support Steering Group
As part of the Barnet School Foods Standards Programme, Barnet Public Health have developed this collaborative steering group to bring together stakeholders involved with local school food and bring positive change to the local school food environment & provision.
The role of the SF Support Steering Group is to provide a forum wherein:
- Members are updated on and contribute to the development and delivery of the School Food Support Plan and action plan.
- School Food support activity is captured, monitored, and discussed amongst stakeholders.
- The impact of current and proposed school food support is presented and explored.
- Ideas and collaboration between stakeholders are welcomed to contribute to the success of the SF support provided.
- Examples of best practices about the school food experience are highlighted.
