Support for improving attendance

Improving attendance in Barnet schools is a priority.  There is compelling statistical evidence to demonstrate that regular attendance leads to good academic achievement.   This section includes a range of information to support headteachers and governors in understanding the issues around absence and in maximising attendance in their school.   The information includes:
