Submission of FY 21/22 School Budgets
Each school must submit the annual budget for 2021/22 no later than 30th May 2021. This budget should be ratified by the Governing Body and signed off by the Chair of Governors before submission. If your school has difficulty setting a balanced budget, please refer to the Schools in Financial Difficulty (SIFD) Process Note

Changes to the scheme for Financing Schools with effect from 01 April 2018
The Scheme for Financing Schools under s48 of School Standards and Framework Act 1998, governs the relationship between the LA and the schools it maintains.
A directed change has been made to take effect from 01 April 2018. The change affects 4.10 Loans - it clarifies loans are for capital items only and not to fund revenue deficits.
